Are you or the people that you lead ready to start preaching by heart, but wondering what are the next steps? I can help. Here are a few of the ways:
Coaching—Even though preaching is one of the most essential activities of the pastor—if not the most—too many of us never receive any constructive feedback and encouragement in our preaching after seminary. I can work one-on-one with you, helping you grow in the areas in which you most want to improve: delivery, content, process, etc. Contact me for a free consultation and we can see if sermon coaching might be for you.
Speaking—I welcome the opportunity to speak on the art and craft of preaching in a conference or workshop setting. I can also serve as a guest preacher or keynote speaker on a variety of topics pertaining to the Christian life, and not just preaching.
Writing—In addition to my work on preaching, I write on other matters of the Christian faith and discipleship for both professional and general audiences, and have been published in The Lutheran Witness, Mockingbird, and others. I’m happy to receive invitations to contribute.
